HTML5
tag not recognised [message #1706914] Mon, 31 August 2015 15:09
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi

I'm trying to create a HTML5 page using the default HTML editor provided by Eclipse Mars and would like to use the
tag but I'm getting a validation error saying "Unknown tag (main)". I'm using several other HTML5 tags such as
,
, and
without any problems.

Is there something I need to do in Eclipse to allow the
tag to be recognised without turning off validation?

I've tried cleaning the project but the validation error remains.

I'm running Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers, version Mars Release (4.5.0).

Kind Regards

Paul
