I just tried a fresh install using the new Installer but it failed with the exception below. I chose the Eclipse IDE for Committers.
It looks like it's trying to get it from the RC3 update site.
Is this a known bug?

Christian,
Yes, the EPP repo, and all things to install the product, are specified
in the product catalog

Thanks Ed and Christian.
I confirm that now installing does not fail with an exception, either installing the plain Committers IDE or with the Papyrus setup model.
However, the later did not work as expected. After restarting, Eclipse did not run the start-up tasks. I even manually added the toolbar button and ran "Perform startup tasks", but nothing happened. No exceptions or errors in the log.
All the required features were installed, but other tasks, in particular cloning the git repo and importing projects did not happen.
I wonder if there is some interference between several installations.
I already have several Eclipse installations, which include pretty much the same features as required by the Papyrus Oomph setup model. Also, I ran the installer in "simple" mode once, and then I ran it again in advanced mode to run the Papyrus setup model, but creating a separate installation with a separate workspace.
Could running the installer twice be the cause of the failure to execute the startup tasks? If not, what else could be preventing the startup tasks from running?
I'm attaching the setup.log.

Hmmm.

I wonder if the workspace even knows about the projects that you've
chosen. If you use File -> Import... -> Oomph -> Projects into
Workspace are the projects you're expecting already selected there?

The streams are recorded in the workspace

Open the Workspace Setup and be sure the projects you're expecting are
there. If not import them as mentioned above.

Ernesto,
It might well be that this older branch's setup is actually doesn't have
this older branch defined, so either it should contain that, or the
EclipseIni task to redirect to it should not be kicking in. Just a
theory, in any case, this is something the Setup author needs to
test/confirm because it's not something that's generally a problem for
all setups.
