Aird from Ecore Model [message #1705990] Thu, 20 August 2015 14:27 Go to next message

Hi
I have written a simple program following eclipses generation design pattern (having an interface and an implementation class for every class, etc) and annotated it properly.

From the annotated java source code I generated a genmodel and an ecore model properly. Now I want a .aird representation diagram of this ecore model.

I tried New-> Rerpesentations File and associating the ecore model to it, but it gives me only a blank "unclickable" file.

It also gives a copy of my ecore

index.php/fa/22976/0/

Has anyone done this before? How do I generate an aird from an ecore model?

I am using Mars 4.5.0

Thank you.

Right-click on the Ecore file and select Initialize Ecore Diagram...
Then you must use Sirius -> Model Explorer view to open it.
