I have a view that shows the "Last used Objects" a user has modified in
a generic way. I dont know wether to keep this in a view or put it in a
menu drop down but thats not the question.
Think of a plugin that handles some object type and wants to register
modifications of its objects on the last used view. now i use findView,
but thats not the right way i know, because if the view is not visible
its not found.
Maybe the last used plugin should offer a service to register the
objects. But then still I need to tell the view to update on modified
objects. I think the view could register as a listener on the
modification service.
Is this how you would do it or is there something the workbench offers
already that i could use ?
So long
Thomas
