Eclipse - Resource Hog? [message #1705316] Thu, 13 August 2015 13:55

Hello guys, newcomer here. I don't know where to post topics like this but hopefully I am in the correct sub-forum.

Whenever I open eclipse, my Memory spikes up (400-500MB) and my CPU usage increases as well (from the cpu process Java (TM) Platform SE binary. There are multiple processes of these same names taking up about 18% CPU each).

This didn't happen until a few days ago and I am wondering if its related to Windows 10. I'm assuming it isn't since it was fine for a week before that.

Anyways, I am not running anything very extensive. Honestly, I am just typing in code and it eventually spikes to much that I am not even able to type more than a few characters per minute. Does anyone else have this problem? Help would be much appreciated.
