Automate keybinding configuration [message #1703650] Mon, 03 August 2015 16:26 Go to next message

Hi!

I have a question about configuration of key bindings as part of the product setup process.
There is an option to add Key Binding, which works fine.
But, is there an option to clear existing bindings for a command (e.g. to override key bindings instead of adding new binding) ?
From the other side, is it possible to remove conflicting binding (e.g. when I add a key sequence that is already used, I would like to remove old binding).

Thanks for suggestions in advance,

The KeyBindingTask was only meant to add new bindings, but I imagine we could enhance it to do what you describe. Please
open an enhancement request.

Hi,
I have encountered similar issue. I searched in bugzilla and the task is still unresolved.

Is there any workaround how to unbind keys?

Thanks in advance.
