Docs for getting started with org.eclipse.ui.menus / handlers ? [message #326749]

Hi all,

I'm wondering what the recommended doc is as starting point for
org.eclipse.ui.menus / handlers / core.expressions and the like.

I find the extension points reference a bit hard to consume, and I
haven't seen lots of examples either. No luck searching for Articels nor
for a webcast on live.eclipse.org -- where should I start looking?

The EclipseCon 2007 presentation looks quite OK but I had hoped for
something more article-style with examples...

is the starting place for 3.3, it walks through the
org.eclipse.ui.examples.contributions plugin. This plugin has been
updated with more examples in HEAD for 3.4 as per the eclipsecon talk,

There is an article in the works as well, although it's not likely to be
finished until after 3.4.
