I have a help application that's running on Eclipse 3.5.1. I want to move it to 4.5 (mars), but have discovered that mars requires MANIFEST.MF files for each plugin (instead of creating them on the fly from the plugin.xml and bundles.info files). The application is a standalone InfoCenter, so it doesn't run in the IDE.

Does anyone know how to generate the manifest files easily? I tried copying one from an Eclipse 4.2 (luna) help project and changing the plugin ID, but it didn't work. I can't find a good reference for what each item in the manifest is/where it gets the values. I might just have incorrect version numbers, but I don't know how to figure out what they really need to be.

Thanks.
