Hi,
I am trying to show dynamic as well as static text in the master page header. Not able to see the column value in the preview.
I have tried

<VALUE-OF>["param"]</VALUE-OF>

and the column binding as well.
Can anyone help me with this.

Can provide some additional details about your configuration?
What version of BIRT are you using?
What type of element is this in on the master page (Text, Dynamic Text, etc.)?
Are you getting any errors when running the report?
