Does jgit currently support shallow clones? According to the following bug, support for shallow clones seems to have been added: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=301627

However, the JavaDoc for CloneCommand makes no reference to shallow clones or setting --depth.

As far as I can see JGit only understands the server side for shallow transports. Servers using JGit support e.g. shallow transport requests. But the client side is not prepared to work on shallow repositories.
