I think I have made a mistake, it is our 5th participation (not the 4th) in the release train:
* Mars 2015 => 5.0.0
* Luna 2014 => 4.0.0
* Juno 2013 => 3.9.0
* Indigo 2012 => 3.8.0
* Helios 2011 => 3.7.0

I have corrected it in the blog post.

Hi,

one of the most important components in my application is the calendarField. In the online demo this is categorized under Widgets (Old).
Will this component be available in the new (NEON) HTML client?

I made some additional changes to this component. Is creating your own components similar to what we are used to in Swing or SWT. Will there be an example or tutorial on how to do this?

Regards Bertin

of course. the naming in the scout widget application might be misleading here.

regarding the naming of the outlines in the widgets application: pages and widget forms that are not (yet) refactored within the widget application are shown in an outline having "(old)" in its title. over time, these outline will get empty and disappear and the refactored content will become in other outlines.

explicitly: having pages or form fields in one of the outlines with a title "(old)" does not mean, that the form field/page is no longer supported with the Scout Neon release.

regarding your question related to creating project specific components:
this will be possible as well and work similar to the current mechanism,

you will need:
* a scout model component written in java
* the rendering part written in javascript + css

and in the course of the neon release we will also include a simple tutorial that explains how to add your own ui component with the new html5 renderer.

That sounds great, I'm exciting to see the new (neon)HTML client
