After selecting
Team/Commit/Compare with head
the resulting dialog fields are squashed at the top left of the actual dialog filling less than a quarter of the dialog.

I have attached a screen print.

I am using Eclipse Mars, Linux Mint 17.1, JDK 8

Yes, I've noticed that too and to get a full window I just grab a corner and drag and viola... full window. That might help debug.
