eTrice works already with Mars [message #1697249] Tue, 02 June 2015 13:09 Go to next message

Hello,
I just tested the nightly build on Mars.
Everything eTrice related works fine (installation, modeling, codegen, compilation).
Unfortunately the general luna problem with the update via proxy remains.
In Luna I did not get an error message, in Mars I do.

Does it make sense to build the 0.5 release (starting with 0.5M3) for Mars?

Hi Thomas,

thanks for testing this.

I have no general objection against going with the most recent platform
version. We could consume it beginning with the official release date
end of June.

The only point is that we might accidentally loose downward
compatibility when adding new dependencies and consume a Mars version
where a Luna or Kepler version would be sufficient.

Probably we should wait until 0.5.0M3 (30.8.)
