How to include pom.properties in Deployment Assembly [message #1697137]

I'm using a library (Drools) that expects to find the maven-generated pom.properties in the deployed JAR (the Drools project is a JAR that my Dynamic Web/WAR project depends on). I can see in the WTP-generated JAR that it does not include pom.properties under META-INF/maven/group-id/artifact-id as it would be if Maven built the JAR.

Is there some way to configure m2e-wtp so that it includes pom.properties in the deployment assembly that is used when publishing via WTP?
