Hi,

My question is about the Error reporting tool AERI. I read earlier that it was meant to improve the Mars release, but not sure to be part of the simultaneous release itself.

So what is the final decision? Is it going to be part of Mars release of the epp packages?

Also what is the update site for the tool?

Thanks

The error reporting will be part of the Mars release and part of every EPP package. We may reevaluate this decision for SR1 if we see a need.

The update sites are at the moment hosted here:
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/logging/stable/
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/logging/milestones/
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/logging/head/

No promises that these urls will be stable for all times yet.

Hi Marcel

In the case these urls change, is there a wiki page that you will be updating, and which I could watch for changes?

Thanks

I see your need for a watchable resource. I created a wiki page that contains a selection of development-related links [1]. Please request more information if needed.

It may make sense to convert the manual that's currently maintained as static html page in the wiki as well. It already contains a few outdated links and images and is difficult to update. But I've yet no time to convert it.
