Logout SWT [message #1696548] Wed, 27 May 2015 04:15 Go to next message

Hi,

I want to logout the current user in my scout swt application, so that the application is protected or another user can login.

One idea was to "simply" restart the rcp workbench, but there are some problems, because scout hooks into the app lifecycle, so that only a stop/shutdown is possible.

I only found topics about RAP but none for SWT (or desktop applications).
So my question: Has anyone implemented somthing like a logout or a restart or a possibility to lock the screen?

So far the only way I am aware of to do this is to exit the application and have the user restart it manually.

If you find a way to solve this issue, I would be very interested to learn how you did it.
