Hi guys,

I'm pretty new and trying to run my first e(fx)clipse program... After creating a standard JavaFX Project I get following error "The import javafx cannot be resolved". I'm using Eclipse 4.4.2 on openSuse. The e(fx)clipse IDE was installed like in the tutorial: http://www.eclipse.org/efxclipse/index.html with "Install new Software...". My Build-Path Settings are as in the attached image. Is there something else i need to configure?

Sorry for my poor englisch and thanks in advance Wink

Regards,
patrick

Are you sure your java has JavaFX with it? On Linux the distros don't
ship JavaFX with their JDK so you need to install an OracleJDK.

That seems to be the problem. But right now i have too less knowledge to install javafx on a linux system... So I will stick with the swift controls at first.

Thanks anyway for your help!

Patrick
