Remote makefile project [message #1696274] Mon, 25 May 2015 03:29
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello!
I have Windows machine with Eclipse Luna.I want to develop makefile based project that is stored and compiled on another Linux machine.
I used this user guide: http://help.eclipse.org/luna/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.ptp.rdt.doc.user%2Fhtml%2Fgettingstarted%2Fcreating_a_remote_project.html
So - I installed rdt server on Linux machine and lanched it (perl daemon.pl). Then i created new connection and new remote project on my windows machine. Then i created new source files and new makifile. All works, but there is no ability to run make (so, to compile project) from Windows machine - i need to run make manually on Linux machine. it is not comfortable.

I have no ability to create new remote project like here http://help.eclipse.org/luna/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.ptp.rdt.doc.user%2Fhtml%2Fgettingstarted%2Fcreating_a_remote_project.html
Instead of this i need to right click on remote folder (in remote system explorer) and choose "Create Remote Project". When remote project appears in Project Explorer i make right click on it, but there is no Build option....
Anyone can help me?
