hi ,
I am trying to add my own submenu option in File Menu something like File--> validateFile. I followed the reference document https://wiki.eclipse.org/Orion/Documentation/Developer_Guide/User_interface_services#orion.page.command . But am unable to succeed.

I am doubtful in scope Id , parent parameters that we nee dto pass for registerCommandContribution and renderCommands functions.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Sravya

I have a similar question, but under the Tools menu. I would like to implement a submenu there:

Tools > My own submenu > My own menu

index.php/fa/22100/0/

Does Orion have extension to support it? Thanks!

I would also like a reference on how to accomplish this. My searching has lead me to believe that the API does not support this yet.
