As per title and description, I would really like to know if Eclipse Mars will come with the FX plugin as standard, or whether this will still need to be downloaded and installed separately.

e(fx)clipse will take a part in the Mars release train but i don't think it will be added to one of the standard download packages

I'm a little confused as this link suggests it will be part of Mars - projects.eclipse.org/projects/technology.efxclipse/releases/2.0.0 (removed https:// as I have less than 5 posts and cannot use link)

Can anyone confirm based on this? However, it does say 2.0.0 of e(fx)clipse is not released until 30th July? How will this work when Mars is released on 24th June.

Hi,

I fixed the date, e(fx)clipse will be released as part of the Mars
release train and it will be available from the sim-rel repo but I don't
think it will be part of any pre-configured distro that you download.
