Hi!

Why is http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo/content.xml not found

It's still there, but it's a p2 repository and it's using a different representation layout than what you're expecting. The /releases/XXX repositories are composite repositories and their metadata files are jar'd up to save bandwidth. The on-disk format of a p2 repository is considered an internal implementation detail.

If you're looking to browse a repository, there are some OSGi Console commands (beginning with "prov") or Igor Fedorenko's p2-browser app provides a way to explore and query on a p2 repository.
