[ECP] Additional label alignment option "Top"? [message #1690959] Wed, 01 April 2015 06:00 Go to next message

Hello,

we are working on the ECP-Implementation for Vaadin. In Vaadin, labels (captions) are displayed at the top by default, with the option to display them on the left using a FormLayout (or none at all, of course).
Examples for the AngularJS renderer also show labels at the top.

The ECP model provides the label alignment options "Left" and "None". Would it make sense to have an additional option "Top"? If so, can you add it?

Greetings

Matthias

Hi,

I assume you are talking about EMF Forms, right? You are right, we
should reconsider the options available for the label. Another option
would be to add an option "default", which leaves the label position to
th renderer. This would fit the current state. Could you open a Bug
Report to discuss this?

Thank you and best regards

Jonas
