Hi,
I am looking for an automated test tool which can help me in testing
my Eclipse lug-in. I found SWTBot will be really helpful for this.

I want the step-by-step procedure for how to download, install and use
the SWTBot for testing my Eclipse Plug-in.

I browsed for the documentation of the SWTBot api.But i didnt found one.
Where can i get the javadoc of the API .

please help me in getting the information.

thanks,
Santhosh Ram

I think there is currently no such tutorial. Maybe I write it one day, but
cannot promise.

What you can do is to follow this readme instruction (ignore the left
side, look at the right side), starting with "To build/run/test SWTBot":

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/attachment.cgi?id=132766&a ction=diff#readme.txt_sec1

Then look at how SWTBot automates its build and test for itself (see
"org.eclipse.swtbot.releng" plugin), and do it the same way.
