Hi!
I have just started to use Eclipse 3.3. In version 3.2 in the open
resources dialog I could check/uncheck a checkbox to specify whether I
wanted to include my derived directories in the matches.
In 3.3 I can still do that (although not with a checkbox but with a
dropdown menu, which is a blow to my keyboard-centered navigation habits,
but whatever), but after I have opened a file from a _derived_ directory,
from then on it will be included in the list of possible matches even if I
uncheck 'show derived resources'.
I can temporarily remedy this by right-clicking on the file in this dialog
and click 'remove from history'. But I have to do this every time with
every such file I only want to see the non-derived resources!
Is there a less inconvenient way of doing this? (The best would be to be
able to turn off this behaviour that the derived resource is also shown
among the non-derived ones once it has been opened. Extremely annoying.)
Thanks!
Agoston

Sounds like an unintended consequence of the changes made to the dialog.
Please file a bug report about it - at the Eclipse.org web site click
Community and then Bugs.
