Detecing if Eclipse is in high contrast display mode [message #308743] Mon, 02 October 2006 15:00 Go to next message

How would I do that? On WINDOWS, I go to "ControlPanels->Accessibility
Options->Display". From there I check the "Use High Contrast" and
"Apply" then "Ok".

I notice that Eclipse detects and ask to re-start Eclipse. Is there an
API that my Eclipse plugins can determine if I am using High Contrast
mode? Thanks. By the way, upon booting up, the text in the Java
editors are not seen, the text with black color originally, now that the
background color is also black.

Hi AL,

noticed the same problem - there are already some open bug reports to
this issue:

Best regards, Marion
