need help to understand Action , ContributionItem, MenuManger etc [message #307739]

after reading the souce code, i know something about them ,but not that
clear in my mind yet. could anyone give me some help? i wanna know how the
contextmenu populates and how the viewer response to the menuitem click
event(i mean how this swt event reach the final event handler at last?)
any sequence diagram or class diagram might help me to understand what
happens between them, thanks :).
