Gabe is a committer on the Dash project, the Babel project and has been
instrumental in creating many components in the Portal, as well as numerous
web-based applications in support of EclipseCon.  

Although his participation in Phoenix has been limited, his knowledge of
PHP, MySQL and Apache are undeniable.

I think Gabe would be a great candidate for maintaining the /projects
section of the website (along with Karl), since that section interfaces
with many of our databases, all of which Gabe is intimately familiar with.

The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded.  The voting will continue
until either all 19 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Gabe O'Brien must receive at least three +1s and no -1s for a
successful election.
