Subject: Reg Bug 561407 - Datatools incompatibility issue

Hello,

This is regarding the bug - 561407.

Kindly let me know in case of any updates with respect to the same.

We are blocked for migrating to Eclipse 4.14 version, due to the issue mentioned in the bug.

Issue:

The plugin org.apache.lucene.queryparser in Datatools 1.14.102 which is compatible with Eclipse 4.14 requires older version of org.apache.lucene.core [7.1.0,7.2.0).

But, Eclipse 4.14 has newer version of org.apache.lucene.core (8.0.0).

Hence, would like to know if org.apache.lucene.queryparser could be adapted to use org.apache.lucene.core version 8.0.0 as I will not be able to include two versions of org.apache.lucene.core in my development target.

Thanks in advance!

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards
