The following document provides the necessary information for getting started with the Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) Log Reports in TPTP.

Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) Log Reports are used to aggregate and summarize numerous Common Base Event log events. The BIRT log reports present Common Base Event log events in tables and charts so users can easily locate trends and effectually analyze.
The following dependencies are required by the BIRT Log Reports:
- Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT)
- Graphics Editor Framework (GEF)
- Data Tools Platform (DTP)
For more information, see the Requirements section of the download site for this TPTP release.
- Install the necessary dependencies.
- Remove the following plug-ins from the
<Eclipse installation directory>/pluginsdirectory:- org.eclipse.tptp.monitoring.report.birt_<version>
- org.eclipse.tptp.monitoring.report.birt.ui_<version>
- org.eclipse.tptp.monitoring.report.birt.doc.user_<version>
- org.eclipse.tptp.monitoring.report.birt.source_<version>1
- Remove the following features from the
<Eclipse installation directory>/featuresdirectory:- org.eclipse.tptp.monitoring.report.birt_<version>
- org.eclipse.tptp.monitoring.report.birt.source_<version>1
- Extract the BIRT Log Reports archive to the
<Eclipse installation directory>/dropinsdirectory. - Start Eclipse with the -clean option.
