Introduction

The main goal of the EMF-IncQuery framework to support the declarative definition of model queries over EMF models, and supports efficient query evaluation in interactive environments.

Release Deliverables

Each release contains the EMF-IncQuery runtime libraries, the pattern editor for the query definitions and additional development tooling.

Themes and Priorities

Trigger Engine

A high-level, incremental and rule engine is being created, that relies on the incremental pattern matching techniques of EMF-IncQuery.

Query Libraries

Support packaging developed queries to be reusable in other environments.

Query Registry

Provide generic runtime support for collecting all available queries for integration scenarios.

Extend User Base

As EMF-IncQuery is a new project, example projects and documentation are needed. The creation and documentation of examples is planned on the Eclipse wiki.
