The many benefits of a requirements management frameworkA common framework for the capture and subsequent management of different types of requirements offers many advantages, such as the ready availability of common mechanisms and patterms to all requirements handling tools (sophisticated traceability, complex reporting mechanisms to name but a couple) and the uniform management and presentation of all artefacts pertaining to even the most complex of requirements models.
We have put together an article that endeavours to describe the rationale behind ORMF and the ways in which the framework addresses the issues we have found with the majority of commonly available requirements management tools today.
Please note that the article needs updating as it is still focussed on our use case based tool, Useme, but its contents should actually by applied to the entirety of ORMF.
