Dear Papyrus Users,
(Initial post here :
https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/papyrus/discussion/-/issues/12 )
The new Papyrus release (Papyrus-Desktop 7.0) on Eclipse 2025-06 is now available. You can install it either from a fresh Eclipse Committers package or from the update site [1]. Alternatively, you can download a Papyrus 7.0 RCP [2], available
for Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
As we announced in a previous post [3], this release introduces new UML diagrams based on Sirius Diagram and new Properties Views based on EEF. However, the previously mentioned removals have not yet been applied. The legacy GMF-based diagrams
and XWT-based properties views are still included, although the latter are disabled by default (they can be reactivated via preferences).
At the same time, we’ve released several Papyrus components based on this new version:
- Papyrus-SysML 1.6 [4]
- Papyrus-Moka [5]
- Papyrus-Model2Doc [6]
- Papyrus-Designer update-site [7] and RCPs (Windows, Linux, Mac OS)[8]
- Papyrus-Robotics [9]
Note that these components have undergone only minor changes and have not yet been migrated to use Sirius Diagrams or EEF-based Properties views.

The Eclipse Marketplace has also been updated with these new releases.
