Integration for Apache Maven

Hello! We have just moved in!

The IAM project has been just provisioned. Q for Eclipse is the project that will become the initial contribution and many resources are still only available at the Q4E website.

You can help us by moving the old articles to the Eclipsepedia, or writing new ones.

The Eclipse Integration for Apache Maven (IAM) extends the Eclipse platform by bridging the gap between a great project build and comprehension tool and the reference IDE for java developers.

Goals

  • First class, deep, integration of maven in eclipse.
    This includes, but is not limited to, JDT and Webtools.
  • Provide a rich interface over maven, traditionally a command line tool and bringing its features to the IDE.
    Maven builds will also be enhanced with Eclipse components when possible.
  • Provide a foundation for third party tools leveraging maven.
