Presented here are some screenshots of the supported capabilities
as well as a short demo video showing the integration of Cloud Computing
in the g-Eclipse framework. See the
demo video [quicktime] to get an impression about the tooling.
g-Eclipse Workbenbch
g-Eclipse provides a dedicated Grid Project View. In this
example an open AWS Cloud Computing project is shown with an
open text editor that works on the remote file stored in S3.
The Connections View on the bottom shows a list of connections
to remote storage; the Authentication Tokens View shows a list
of available authentication tokens that are used to authenticate
and authorise the user.

JSDL Editor
JSDL (Job Description Language) is a standard format. g-Eclipse
provides wizards and this editor in oder to assist the user in creating
valid and correct job definitions.
|
|
Terminal View
The Terminal View can be used to get access to a command line
via several connection protocols. In this example, a simple SSH
connection is used.

New Grid Project Wizard
The New Grid Project Wizards helps the user to setup a new
Grid project and creates an initial folder structure.

|
EC2 Launch Configuration Wizard
The EC2 Launch Configuration Wizard guides you through the
steps of starting a new EC2 instance from an existing AMI.

|
Authentication Wizard
Whenever you want to perform a Grid action such as a remote
storage connection or job submission, g-Eclipse verifies
the validity of your authentication credentials. If verification
fails, g-Eclipse takes you directly to the authentication token
creation dialog box where you can specify your authentication
credentials.
