How to draw a line in GEF framework? [message #238460]

I am trying to draw a line between two points with drag and drop, but without a rectangle. When the mouse is down i want a small circle to appear and that would be the start point for my line, and for mouse up it will be the end point for the line. I tried using a Connection but that works only on Shapes.
