"Save As" in M8 [message #226966]

Is anyone having an issue with the "Save As" functionality in M8? Whenever
I try to "Save As" on any file, nothing happens. I click "Save As" under
file, get the dialog box to put the filename, click ok, then nothing...the
file never shows up...nothing saves.

I have this behavior too
Workaround for me : copy - paste

What I don't get is why things like this are breaking in M8? If it works,
who is changing the code and not unit testing to realize they are breaking
something like this? That is a BAD thing to be happening so late in the
game. I hope by M9 there are VERY few bugs. Otherwise I can't see how
they'll be releasing 3.0 final in June.

I guess the problem is that such bugs, that are GUI related are not very
easy to test automatedly. The JUnit integration was just extended to
automatically generate such GUI events. Hopefully that will make thinks
better.

Did you file a bug report for that bug? And if not, could you please do so?
