Hello all, hello Jason,

I've read (quickly for the moment) BIRT presentations at EclipseCon 2007.
Jason, your presentation about the several API is really great and very usefull !!!
I also have to study extension points, ODA and charting presentations and samples.

Just one remark, what about crosstab feature ?

There is one example of the static component on BIRT World, but it's a static crosstab with know columns.
I know, it's a very complex and big feature, I suppose critical for BIRT and Actuate, and we're waiting to see what the BIRT team realize.

Precisely, is there a way to overview the approach you decide to use, what kind of restrictions crosstabs of the final 2.2 will have ?

Thanks a lot.

Hello Thibaud,

The cross-tab code has just been integrated into the main CVS branch. I
belief that if you were to pick up the nightly builds, you would see the
code. Hopefully by the M6 build we will have a working sample of the CrossTab
in the code.

Hello Scott,

Thanks a lot for your answer,
I will take a look at nightly builds and M6 to see what kind of dynamic
component and strategy for datasources you will use.
