Do you mean the automatic generated tree editor?
If so, you're wrong here, because this is an EMF feature (using JET and
GEF I think). I would download EMF from CVS and look in the *.ui
packages for extensions/contributions to eclipse for *.genmodel files.
Look which action is used for "Generate Editor Code" and how it's
implemented.
