Hello,

I am interested in remote debugging. My entire project is located on a remote server (e.g., a Linux server) and I would like to debug it using Eclipse installed on a PC running Windows 7.

So far I have managed to create and build my remote project using RDT and RSE. From my Remote C/C++ perspective, I can edit the source files and build my application using a make file. However, I have not yet managed to debug my remote application.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,
Cheers,
Michel

Thank you for your prompt reply.
Unfortunately your link (which I have gone through many times in the past) is helpless to me.
As already mentionned in my previous posting, my project is located and compiled on the target (I am not using any sort of cross-tool chain on the host, and I don't need to upload the executable on the target since it is already located there).

I have followed the procedure described in Eclipse help (see RDT section): I have created a remote project (not a local one), and I have compiled it from Eclipse on the host. Now I would like to debug it from Eclipse on the host.
