OSX specific RCP app stall, how to determine cause? [message #1402152] Wed, 16 July 2014 11:46 Go to next message

Hi,

I have a RCP application that stops responding, after about 8 hours of use, on OSX the wheel cursor appears for ever.
I can force quit but end up with nothing that is useful.
The problem is that this does not occur with the same build of the product for Windows.

How do I debug the application in these circumstances?

I have added an ini file that has
-vmargs
-XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError

And it is not an out of memory error. So specific to OSX, no log file produced and not out of memory, how to discover the cause?

Thanks

David

The wiki page on reporting a deadlock has a list of suggestions.
