Error opening user.setup after removing installation [message #1387113]

Hello,

after removing an installation (eclipse+ws+repo), user.setup file can't be opened any more.

The editor shows an error:

Problems encountered. Click the 'Details' button for further information

In the Details:

java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\path\to\installation\eclipse\configuration\org.eclipse.oomph.setup\installation.setup
java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\path\to\installation\ws\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.oomph.setup\workspace.setup
Workaround: Remove corresponding "setupTask" XML-tags from user.setup

Did I missed something or is it a bug?

Hi Boris,

The newest builds have a fix to handle this (kind of normal) situation more nicely. It switches the editor into a mode
where all involved resources are shown, together with live validation that gives you a better user experience.
