I am not sure where to report bugs, but I will add it here. If you add "parameter" to a Data Set of a certain data type, ie Integer, and map it to a Report Parameter that is also Integer, it changes the Report Parameter type to string for some reason.
I always have to go back into the Report Parameters when adding linked data set parameters and fix the data types. Editing parameters does not have this impact, but just adding them new.

Hi Brian! You can report bugs here
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=BIRT ...I think this
one is already reported but if not, that's where you can file it.
Thanks! :)
