Hi,

I have some problems manipulating libraries in EAR. I want to add some
libraries and project, which are not JEE stuff. (like some logging
utilities etc.).

1) Adding (plain) Java Projects
- when I add a plain Java project, the facet builder is enabled on this
project, which is annoying, since it reports many errors and warnings
related to XML and HTML. I do not want this. All I need is to add a JAR
from this plain Java project into EAR's lib directory. How can I do that?

2) Adding JARs
I have a project in Eclipse called "libs_3rdparty", which is not a Java
project, just a general Eclipse project. In this project, I have a few
JARs. How can I add them into EAR's lib directory? When I add them by
"Properties->Java EE Module Dependencies->Add JARs", then the checkbox
"lib" is disabled. So, these libraries are added as bundled libraries, but
not in the lib dir. Furthermore, if I go to the "Properties->Java EE
Module Dependencies" again, I do not see these JARs any more. I can
manipulate these JARs only by manually editing the
"org.eclipse.wst.common.component" file. (I can move them in the lib
directory, in fact.)

Thanks for the help,. especially with the problem 1).

Andy
