"Static" GEF Figures? [message #228612] Tue, 02 January 2007 14:05 Go to next message

Hi there,

i want to implement a figure that always stays in the current view, i.e.
no matter where the user scrolls or what the user does to the view, this
figure stays at the same place. In particular i want to create a
swimlane figure, that is always visible to the user! Can anybody tell
me, how?

Thanks!

Wolf

You could try adding another layer to your diagram and add that figure in
this new layer.

Thanks for the answer.

My current problem is that the editor's scrollbars are automatically
being resized, if an element gets near to the edges. Could i prevent the
editor from "resizing" its scollbars? I want this new element to fill
the whole working area without having some white spaces btw. my
swimlanes and the scrollbars...
