Removal of Local task repo - safe? [message #1313028] Thu, 24 April 2014 16:58 Go to next message

Hi,

Mylyn 3.11, Eclipse 4.3.2, Windows 7 - 64 bit, Oracle java 7

I wanted to get rid of the Local task repo - so I simply deleted it.
Not sure if that is a good idea? I directly discovered that it is no longer
possible to create Tasks from a failed Jenkins Build record.
Should it work, but is just a bug?

I also wanted to get rid of the Bugzilla connector, but that was not as easy
as just do delete..

As far as I can see, there is no way to remove the local repository.

Sam

[Edit] It seems the Team Repositories view does not prevent removing it, but I think it should. I've commented on 336427: deprecate Task Repositories view

Hi,

Well, physical remove is quite possible:
In View "Team Repositories" select Local repository, in context menu (at
right click) select 'Delete' and and then OK.
Local repo now Gone.

But you might mean "no way" as in no way withou causing side effects?
