Hi,
is there a way to specify a context-free ocl query using the mdt/ocl? emf
query ocl provides a similar mechanism.
thanks.

HI

Your question makes very little sense to me.

The context defines self, and without self you can only evaluate numeric
expressions.

FWIW, the Classic Eclipse OCL throws an NPE when evaluating on a null
self so you cannot do pure numeric evaluation. The Pivot OCL is more
tolerant so you can use it as a calculator.
