Hi,
could somebody tell me in which package the Database Explorer of the rdb
part is located? It is mentioned here in the first paragraph
http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/community/tutorials/RDBTutor ial/RDBTutorial.html
, but the only thing i am able to find is the server explorer :/.

thanks,

Philipp

I think what you're after is known as Eclipse Data Tools Platform (DTP)
which is a separate download under some circumstances. As you've already
got Eclipse up, I'd look around in the Eclipse Updater for it (I found
it there a few weeks back when I did this) and add it.

Help->Software Updates->Find and Install...->Search for new features to
install->Data Tools Platform (DTP) Updates or something like that.

Also, I would point out that you could use Pulse
(www.poweredbypulse.com) to create a profile so that if you moved to a
new development host/workstation or wanted to share with a friend, your
"total package" would be available brainlessly through that tool without
having to remember all the stuff that you included.

Hope this helps and that I'm not answering the wrong question.

Russ is correct. The WTP Relational Database (RDB) tools have moved into
the Data Tools Platform (DTP) project, a sister project to WTP.
