Hello all!
Does anyone experience a noticeable reduction in publishing performance
in WTP 2.0.x relatively to WTP 1.5.x?
We develop a (big) webapp with WTP and we're using Tomcat 5.5. From when
we switched to WTP 2.0.x (clean install), it seems that Eclipse
publishes the whole webapp EVERY time it has to do publishing... so, it
seems not to do it in an incremental way anymore... The result is that
it always takes minutes to publish...
Republish is often fast, but sometimes my co-workers say that it's very
slow, too, because Eclipse seems to do a full publish operation...
It this normal?
Mauro.

Hi Larry,
yes, when I first start Eclipse, with WTP 2.0.x the publishing is always
done from scratch, as you say.
I'll try to make further investigation whether this problem arises also
during the remainder of a session.
Thank you!
Mauro.
