Hi,

I'm using Eclipse with EGit, but there is a lack of functionality about git search.
Git search only provides commit info.
but If git search support 'Git Grep', It's really excellent and powerful on many projects which use git.

I know we have 'File Search', 'C/C++ Search', but they are a little slow with big projects comparing with 'Git grep'.

Would you have any plan for this or alternative?

Someone needs to spend the time to implement this, yeah it would be nice Smile
