After a lot of playing around with installed JDKs I finally got Oracle app
server ((10.1.3.0.0) for Microsoft Windows). integrated with WST.
However, when I try to deploy a WAR or EAR to my instance, it fails. It
takes absolutely ages to do anything, then it comes back with an error
saying it timed out. However if I leave it even longer it seems to think
it's started up OK, but then I can't hit any pages in my supposedly
deployed application.
I've seen a few bug reports about the server adaptor not quite working,
but these were for the developer preview release of OC4J, and I'm using
the 'Released' version which I guess is quite new.
Please could someone tell me a) if WST now definately works with OC4J and
if so b) how to do it?
I've followed the tutorials on the WST site, but I must be doing something
wrong... :(
